The Rodi is manufactured with a high-stretch rubber to keep the lead weights comfortably in their proper position during ascents and descents.
The quick-release hard plastic buckle provides an intuitive and rapid emergency release. The buckle pin passes through, is very strong, and is riveted at both ends.
